Bad luck continues

Road the St. Helena Rd trails yesterday....super technical and difficult. To ride these boulders, drop offs etc you should really have a free ride bike, 2.3"+ tires, and a lot of nerve....none of which this rider posess. At least I didn't crash and break anything....but I did walk about 25% of the trail.

Then last night there was some water on the kitchen floor from the dogs drinking water. Slipped on that, hit the floor and busted a couple of fingers.

Went for a nice ride today. It had absolutely no purpose other than to just ride. No time limit, no speed to worry about, nothing. Just 4.5 hours on my mountain bike contemplating life. I did the route I usually do on my road bike which is 100km long. Haven't done that route since last fall. It was really nice. That's my outlook right now....ride just to ride....not for any other reason.
